has anyone used Etoro trading service?
it's the only one that i can buy eth from given the country that i am in.
never mind horrible reviews here https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/www.etoro.com wow
wait, i can actually trade eth on plus500, why didn't anyone tell me this, why do ya'll use coinbase?
Why would you use this if you can do the same things while being anonymous on 1broker or other CFDs services ? You know what BTC is ?

I didn't know these were a thing
I still need to purchase btc somewhere first though
Remember you're not actually buying the ETH. You can't access your wallet and transfer it elsewhere for example.
etoro and plus500 are doing CFD, in other words OTC. You bet on the value of the underlying product, not buying the product itself. With their SUPER expensive spreads, they are just tricking you in to buying with a high leverage so they can take higher fees. Their so called account managers will try to push you in to taking positions with less than 5% margin so you'll get margin calls all the time and therefore more inclined to deposit more money to not get liquidated. DO NOT USE THEM, they are scammers that are abusing people who are new in to trading
I'm newish to this, when btc first came out i played with mining and thought about buying a bunch but just thought it would eventuate into nothing.
I see this etoro thing nonstop on adverts, so if I want to get into buying some of the smaller currencies, what are the steps to do it, what do i need and what is a good trading service.
you can't literally buy it, i.e. you bet money on in to go up/down and you get money. Can't send it to your wallet or cash out ethers so far.
