You have no idea what blockchain is if you think this matters. They just up the difficulty on the hash, it's always going to be easier to do that then up the computing power unless we have infinite computing power and then we're all fucked.

This. The real problem with quantum computing would be cracking private keys, but developers in the crypto space are already planning for that and building quantum resistant chains. At that point, you would be more worried about hospitals and mid-size companies not having the resources and foresight to protect their data. Considering so much of the world still runs on WinXP...
