If I cashed out all my portfolio could I just send the IRS 35% and forget about it? I just dont want to deal with it.
35% seems like much more than any taxes would incur . Theyll refund it if it was too much come refund season right?

You don't know how much you owe? Why are you thinking of cashing out then? Don't be an idiot.
>no bulge
As I said, I dont want to deal with figuring anything out. I just want to know if 35% is enough to make sure I cant get fucked. I just want to send them a check and be done with it. I dont want to go through all transactions, do the math, etc.
Keep it in BTC faggot

Are you American? At least figure out your capital gains bracket and send them the right percentage. I would probably set it aside in a savings account or something until I file in 2018.
Remember you don't owe on your original investment, just your gains. Literally 30 seconds of research and 30 more seconds of subtraction and division could save you hundreds or thousands of dollars.
