First off you should know:
YOU CAN GET PAID BY HELPING US. THERE IS NOTHING TO RISK AND EVERYTHING TO GAIN BY HELPING US WITH OUR GOAL. (ARK CURRENTLY IS WORTH ABOUT $1.00 USD)

WHAT IS GOING ON?
If you don't already know, ARK is one of the unique cryptos to use DPoS which is Delegated Proof of Stake, In the case of Ark it works like this:
>in the Ark world there are only 51 machines that create new Ark
>they are called delegates
>who these top 51 delegates are is changing all the time
>because people vote for who they want to be a delegate
>there are a bunch of delegates (anyone can register to become a delegate)
>people vote for these delegates with how much money is in their wallet
here's where it gets dank as hell
>anyone can unvote at anytime and change to another delegate
>delegates often pool their Ark earnings with the voters
>yes you can get paid with Ark by voting for delegates
>/biz/ has created their own delegate with 90% payout and is currently in rank #54 or 53

PERSPECTIVE: About $430,000 of Ark has been raised by /biz/nessmen since the night of June 6th.
THE MISSION: GET THE BIZ DELEGATE TO A TOP 51 POSITION SO WE ALL GET PAID.

t. holding 4678 ARK
>>
>>2365633
costs 1 ark to vote for anyone, your payout depends on how your % in the pool, the more you hold the more you make, payout will be weekly
>>
>>2365658
how much ark is paid out to the lowest delegate?
>>
>>2365633
Costs 1 ark to vote, with 4678 ark you'd be making about 1.7 arks/day once we're forging, you're free to take your arks out of your wallet whenever you want but you would of course stop getting gains when you took them out(or get smaller gains if you take a portion out)
>>
>>2365633
It costs 1 ark to vote. Your remaining 4677 is how many votes you are providing. That money is yours to keep. As long as it's in your wallet with which you voted, it counts as votes.
It makes about 12% per year.
We could be reaching rank 51 in a couple of weeks, faster with wales.
>>
>>2365682

We've been getting more than 100k ark/day, at this rate it should only be a few more days.

Because less Ark in the delegate pool means higher returns for you, especially with a 90% payout. Only the top pools with over a million Ark have that high a payout

Besides, you can change your vote whenever for 1 Ark so it's not even a big deal.

>>
By the way I've been reading and apparently one issue is voters flipping their votes to different nodes when a payout is about to occur. Is there a way that you could work around this?
>>
>>2366075
Unless the payout for the actors is more than 2 ark, they're losing out. I guess only if you have tons of small holders can you really work around it though.
>>
>>2366075
Recording shares on a per-block basis would be pretty trivial to implement at the cost of some extra storage.
>>
>>2366090
No, I mean say we're about to have a payout and we've had around 850k all week. Then just before payout some whales with 500k jump in. Wouldn't the way the current automated program works reward them as if they'd been voting for our node for the entire week even if they'd only been voting for it for a couple hours?
>>
>>2366075
should be time dependent
if you're in for 100% of the time, 100% of the payout
50% of the time, 50% of the payout
etc

I don't think that's how it actually works though. The reason that I think it doesn't is because when browsing the node proposals multiple node owners were talking about using variable reward schedules to mitigate vote hoppers. Also because of watching the top rankings jump around in the top 51.
>>
>>2365812
If the delegate isn't showing up in your wallet, just check if you're on the voter list for the biz delegate. If you are, you're good.

>>
>>2366208
Could just still have weekly payouts but make the payout day a random day each 7 day period.
>>
Hey guys, I just want to let anyone who is feeling a little skeptical here know that I felt the same way too at first. This sounds too good to be true and I really don't want to trust some /biz/tards with my money. Then I realized that the ARK client you download comes directly off the ARK website, so if anybody were to be scamming you it would be ARK, and not /biz/. I was also worried about not getting paid out by a potentially greedy delegate, but then I found out we can unvote and he would be left without any votes, thus removing him from the top 51. Also, your ARK is safer when you store it in the ARK client as opposed to an exchange. Just make sure you store your passphrase in a few secure places (on a pieces of paper or something, tucked away with your SSN). The only cost to this is the 1 ARK to vote and .1 ARK in transaction fees. Come join your bizbros anon, and together we will rise to the top
>>
>>2366299
Yeah, what's great about the /biz/ delegate is that rather than a group shilling their p&d coin here at the expensive of other /biz/ users, if we can achieve rank 51 or above, it's going to be consistent gains for everyone.

Make sure you also understand how the wallet recovery process works and all the information it requires. An offsite backup of this data can save your ass down the line if your computer rips or your house catches fire.
Also always use 2FA on exchanges.
Crypto is pretty unforgiving in its current state, so double check everything before large movements.

I know which "pump" youre referring to and that was absolutely laughable giving that every other coin was breaking ATH after ATH for almost a month straight while ARK was trying to do some half ass attempt at a recovery to its old former ATH of ~.35 cents. However even that pathetic attempt failed because, again, bot manipulation.

In fact, the day that ARK finally decided to moon was on a day that evey other alt-coin was in the deep red. Completely artificial and manipulated to hell and back.

Voted with what I've got

Looking at the rankings we've got highest amount of voters per delegate, will that affect any payout when we do get to the top?
>>
>>2371541
It's based off ark in wallet.

.9(422(wallet/total ark in pool)).

Say we need 800k to hit 51, and you vote with 800. You get .3798 ark per day. Weekly payout means 2.6856 per week, minus a .1 ark transfer fee. Doesn't seem like much, but in a year that's 138.2472 ark for doing nothing but hodling. At a buck, not so impressive... but at $10? $100? Not bad for literal free money.

Well, fuck.
>>
>>2374835
It got much easier to get to 51 because heliohash, the #1 delegate just got revoted by his 990K Ark voter so he was bumped from 1 to 52, so now we only need 685,577 ARK backing biz. Now we have 446,760. Good growth rate desu senpai
>>
>>2374950
All well and good, but we still need to shake out about 400k more ARK to be sitting comfortably.
>>
>>2374970
this is true, an anon holding a very respectable amount of ark posted he will vote once we reach 500K, also next thread I will be announcing 100% voter payout for our first month or more I will post the 100% announcement on my Ark forums delegate proposal as well. Whales and ARK enthusiasts love 100% voter payouts so I think we will get people to jump on biz for that
>>

>>
One thing to be aware of is that just passing bbclubark is highly unlikely to be enough to secure us a spot in the top 51. They just started their node yesterday and its obviously a group of whales so I'm sure they'd get more ark to stay above us, most of the other top 51 have been fairly stable.

It's not. Almost looks like Ark got into stealing Blocknet tech AND names "SmartBridge" vs "XBridge"

>>
>>2376679
Yes we can start forging right now if we reached 51 right this second, but this would not be ideal/not my preferred set-up, good news is that everything should be ideal by tonight or by the latest, tomorrow night if I get raped by unexpected roadblocks.

We take the gains from the whales, the oppressors for generations who have kept you down
with myths of mooning and we give it back to you, the people.

Crypto is yours. None shall interfere, hold as you please.
But start by storming Bittrex and buying the ARK.

Step forward those who would buy, for a pool will be raised.
The powerful will be stripped of their lambos, and cast out into the
cold world that we know and endure.

Shorts will be shattered.
Longs will be enjoyed.

Blood will be shed.
The exchanges will survive as they learn to serve true justice.

This great board... it will endure.
ARK will survive.

People on /biz/ believe in /biz/, but only to a degree. As long as people can see you're serious about it then it doesn't matter, you'll get people not from /biz/ voting for you because you offer the value and that's what really matters.

It depends on what you have in your wallet vs. what's in the pool. Say you put in 100 and we have 100000 in the pool (I know that doesn't get us to a staking position, but humor me). You have 1/1000 of all the ARK in the pool, entitling you to .001 of all the ARK, or .422/day. Since we're doing 100% for the first 50 days, you'd get that paid out per day, distributed 1/week to save on transaction fees, so every week you'd get 2.854 ARK. After the first 50 days, that would drop to 2.5686. 133.5672 yearly. Not a lot for a $1 coin, but we're expecting this to go up.
>>

There's been a bot manipulating the price so that whales can accumulate more for the very same purpose we're doing: staking, AKA passive income, AKA free money. If you have a ton of Ark you make more from the staking pools, and you'll make an absolute fuckton if Ark hits $10+, which is very realistic since the coin has a lot going for it.
