I don't pay for electricity. What GPU is pretty good? Watts is not a factor.
rx470
>>2358910
or any of these rx480, gtx1060,1070,1080
**YOU ARE ARE REALLY LUCKY IF YOU CAN FIND THEM FOR CHEAP.
Keep in mind ether is switching from pow to pos by the end of the year which will make gpu mining ether useless.

I am also in the same boat. Bought condo when it was flat rate electric bill. New goy have to pay extra for it. :^)
Starting up a 6 gpu rig next month with gtx1080's.
>>2359110
This is true but it is happening by the end of 2017. By that point you can start mining whatever else is highly profitable and still have a decent stack of ETH to invest.
>mining DGB with 2 GTX1070's
Not sure if this translates the same to ETH mining, but currently pulling ~755MH/s using skein
>>2358894
because rx470 and 480 are sold out
GTX 1070 has good ROI thinking about building 6 gpu rig
GTX 1080 Ti slower ROI but may be good in long term if you are willing to risk
>>2359232
highly suggest you go against getting 1080s, certain miners have trouble utilizing gddr5 which the 1080 specifically have. Oddly enough the 1070 and 1080ti uses gddr5x
How much would I be able to mine with an R9 290?
>>2359835
about 20 Mh/s
>>2359284
wow
my shitty r9 fury nitro can only pull 35MH/s
and here i thought amd was the king of crypto mining
>>2360120
different coins mine at different speeds
>>2360239
i know
and its 30 MH/s when mining DGB
