How can a separate coin be an attack on bitcoin?

- they barely understand what it is so theyre not going to spend tens or hundreds of billions of dollars fighting it

- if the hashing power of the network suddenly doubled I believe the difficulty would also increase , so they need to MORE than double the power of the network

- the government isnt frothing at the mouth trying to kill btc. they're still learning what it is, how they can use it, regulate it, tax it, etc. if they just go nuts and ban new tech whenever it emerges they're just going to fall behind other nations
