I made my biggest gains when I made trades with a 1 to 2 week time frame, only doing adjustments once every two days. Then I started to get impatient and only thought days ahead, got into day trading etc. Began to spin my wheels and started making stupid impulsive decisions. When I went back to short term investing (instead of frequent trading), I pretty much instantly resumed to double my portfolio every 7-14 days.

Patience really is key here. Get to know competent people, learn TA and make informed decisions. Look up how to put the targets for your trades in writing in the form of a simple trading plan and then STICK TO IT. No fomo, no panic, no adrenaline-chasing, no meme coins etc.
