Previous thread here >>2332216

We are in the middle of a campaign to get /biz/ paid daily via voting for our /biz/ delegate, which has gone from rank 309 last night to (currently) 55, soon to break to 54. We need to get to at least rank 51 to start getting our voters paid.

>I wanna get paid too, how do I join?
Go to ark.io, download the client, and then follow this guide: https://blog.ark.io/how-to-vote-or-un-vote-an-ark-delegate-and-how-does-it-all-work-819c5439da68

WE HAVE RAISED over 100,000 ARK AND IT HASNT EVEN BEEN 24 HOURS, WE ARE GONNA MAKE IT!

You should have as much ARK as possible in your wallet when you vote, since the more you have, the more we go up in rank. That also means you get paid more.

90% of all Ark forged from our biz node is going to YOU, THE VOTERS. We are making sick progress, keep it steam rollin' boys. I am currently getting our delegate node ready for forging by adding security, and later upgrading hardware. You guys keep getting our rank up and we ALL WILL BE REWARDED.

Ranking:
https://www.arknode.net/VoteReport.txt
https://explorer.ark.io/delegateMonitor

Also, whoever is the actual biz delegate should start a thread on the Ark delegate forum below to get some traction in the Ark community: https://forum.ark.io/category/5/delegates
>>
I dont know what any of this is. What happens if i buy $100 worth of ark and vote?
>>
Damn we're almost a quarter of the way there already. At the current price I could get another hundy or so, but I wanna try and ride a couple pumps in other coins to get a few more. All the markets I can see are stalled though.
>>
>>2340500
Then you'd basically be gettin g a very small amount of Ark every day from the biz staking pool you voted for. If Ark rises to a high price, then it would be some valuable free money.
>>
Is there a calculator for rewards?
>>
>>2340500
The previous thread link is there, go see what we got going on.
Short story if we get a bit over 750k ark in our collective wallets, that's sitting at home safe on your computer or whatever, everyone gets free ark trickled in over time.
>>
Just bought another 2.4k ark - It should help a little
>>
>>2340534
The biz one isn't on here, but this gives you a general idea

We need to infiltrate the higher groups, let them know about our superior payout.
We should target the ones immediately above us, as they are not yet being paid.
>>
>>2340535
>>2340517
Sounds cool. Im going to sleep rn but will check it out in the morning.
>>
IMPORTANT

The /biz/ delegate's name is just biz. Go to your desktop Ark wallet>click the votes tab>click "add delegate">type in "biz">press vote

Make sure you actually have Ark in your wallet first or the vote doesn't count

We're going to be rich together.

It'll probably be weekly so dude doesn't have to pay hundreds of transaction fees every day. There's a calculator somewhere, and the less often we get paid the more we get paid. Think that was in the last thread.

That would probably be like .6 ARK a day.

To everyone in this thread, I'm not trying to be a dick, but your votes carry the weight of your wallet.

That means that if your wallet is worth 0 ARKs, then your vote means squat. It literally doesn't help. # of people voting means shit, # of ARKs INSIDE the wallets of people voting is what matters.

Imo they fucked up by calling it "voting", eliciting a democracy feel of "1 person = 1 vote", it's not like that at all.

IF YOU INTEND TO BEG FOR 1 ARK JUST TO VOTE, DON'T, unless you intend on actually buying some and putting them in your wallet later.
If you already voted, please BUY more ARKs and transfer them to YOUR wallet (ie. don't let it sit at the exchange), the rate is dynamic as confirmed by >>2341216 so you don't need to vote again.

With that being said, don't feel discouraged my /biz/bros, we're all going to make it
>>

With 200+ members we would reach #51 if everyone put even less than 3000,- into ARK.

>>2343395
All you do is pay 1ARK to vote for /biz/bro to be one of the top 51 people who runs an Active Delegate node, meaning he is involved in securing the network and forging blocks. It's a proof of stake system in contrast to mining in proof of work systems like BTC. When /biz/bro forges a block, he gets a reward in ARK. He then pays 90% of that reward to us, the people who vote for him, based on how much ARK we hold in our own wallets. You can't lose money.
>>
>>2343395
>set up an account with an exchange (robinhood, bittrex, cryptopia etc.)

>Input funds (start of with ETH as the input, then convert to BTC)

>trade

Buying ETH is just faster most of the time, BTC can be a bit outrageous in terms of wait times for confirmations and shit
>>
>>2340489
If I vote for biz and we end up not making it, can I change me vote to another delegate?
>>
>>2343395
get bitcoin (coinbase etc.)
send bitcoin to bittrex
exchange bitcoin for ARK
download ARK wallet to your desktop
send ARK from bittrex to your desktop wallet
vote for biz delegate from your desktop wallet
>>
>>2343399
We need more ark, not more votes. Sending ark to people does not help at all, our node already has more voters than any other node out there.
>>
>>2343427
/Biz/bro is offering 90% of his forging reward to his voters. Most of the Active Delegates do not offer this much, therefore by supporting biz node, you are earning ARK passively at a greater rate than you could by voting for someone else
>>
>>2343445
Yes

1 ARK to devote biz

then one more to vote for another delegate
>>
>>2343427
>>2343437
>>2343452

Thanks. So basically, the more money that I have in my ARK wallet, the more I will get payed when/if we reach top 51?
>>
>>2343445
Yes, though you would have to unvote and revote.
>>
>>2343445
Yes, but have faith in biz node, we will make it. Don't jump ship.
>>
>>2343465
>more ARK in wallet

>>
>>2343465
Yes. You get paid based on the amount of ARK you personally hold. I believe the reward now is somewhere on the order of 400 ARK per day that gets distributed among biz pool. It may not seem like much now but it's free money, and imagine what happens when ARK takes off. Yuuge amounts of passive income for free.

Biz isnt in the top 51, use one of the others with 90% as their payout
>>
>>2343530
Who knows? They have plans to implement a point of sale system that allows normies to utilize Fiat, which is big. They might not replace BTC but with features like Smartbridges to interact with other blockchains, it could become an integral part of a crypto ecosystem. Read their white paper. People on biz will alternate between praising ARK for it's great tech and team, and bashing it for the same reason. Make your own decision.
>>
>>2343530
But to answer your question, don't fucking buy and sell this a week later. Hold it because of the potential for massive passive income due to its proof of stake forging. That alone is so much better than BTC in my view.

I'm all for this I joined a while ago but I'm getting more sceptical of the whale powers biz always claims to harness.

You have an odd time scale.

That's because its nonsense. Do you expect us to suddenly jump to the top 5 delegates? If not we'd still be getting higher rewards due to lower total tokens in the pool. As for the pools that are lower ranked they offer a lower percentage payout so we would obviously be more than them. Transaction fees, while having an effect, would not have a substantial enough one to reduce our profits to below that of other pools.

Even though this is obviously not the case let's presume for an instant that it was. With that much Ark you would get a massive percentage of the pool, since it's mostly little fish. If we get to 800,000 Ark (enough to be in the top 51), you would be getting 12.5% of the 90% that's given to the biz pool.

90% is also an extremely generous cut from the delegate.

>your welcome

Thanks for choosing biz delegate, why wouldn't you want to stay with biz and reap in that 90% return rate? You'd get way more than anyone else with your huge bag of ARK?
>>
Question: With so many voters, isn't the amount of ARK we're all going to respectively receive stupid small? I'm still backing my /biz/bros, just curious.
>>
>>2348107
every day he isn't with a top 51 delegate he probably loses a good amount of money. Pretty good show of faith for any whale to jump on before we are at the 51 delegate mark. No matter how demanding he sounds. Money is money.

Thank you for kind words.
Every 3 days I get 90 arks from wes for voting. By voting for biz I don't get no money. Basically I am giving away 90 arks or 90 dollars because I like spirit of /biz/ and it would be nice to have our presence on ark. However 30 dollars a day is still money and I like to keep getting it

the amount you receive is proportional to the amount you put in, not the amount of votes
>>
>>2348181

It's not about total votes. It's weight of voter (arks in a voters wallet) / total arks of all voters. This ain't the USSR (sadly, for me and my measly 160 Ark).
>>
Holy shit it's actually wes fuck im not home right now nigga i cant believe it Damn im speechless
>>
>>2348181
No because alot of the voters have very small balances. Its based on how much you have in your wallet. so say there is 1,000,000 Ark between 10 people. they would each get 10% of the forged ark. now say another person voted with only 1 ark in their wallet. they would only get 1/1,000,000th of the forged ark. Its proportional to how much ark you have.

what do you mean by unvote? don't you have to pay 1 ark to unvote? how do you accidently do that? just curious :p
>>
>>2348233
Is there a formula? There was one posted last night, but following that nets me 48k ARK/year on an 800 ARK stake and I know that's not right.
>>
>>2348264
Lol yea you do, Wasn't really an accident I was going to change my vote until we got closer to the 51 mark but then I realized we were actually getting there faster than I thought.
>>

>>2348215
Might have been better if you waited to tip the balance into #51 instantly. Now if you leave after a week everyone's spirit will be down.
>>
>>2348230
Its someone that was voting for Wes, not Wes. Still nice though.

Thanks a billion nigger I'll be putting some heavy hours in for this cause. Applying lube to asshole as we speak.

I thought about that. The thing is that ark has shit marketing. I personally value ark from technical point around 2.5 - 5.0 dollars per coin, but with our United Shilling Initiative ( U.S.I ) until 2019 spring pump it to 8.5 dollars or more just by shilling on r*ddit or other social media forms. Tech is solid and soon be working, plus a capable team. Only thing what could sink ark is internal disputes.

I see Ark as integral part (bridge) of crypto ecosystem. By saying 5-10 I meant that it should reach 200000 - 300000 satoshis by 2019 and for example if btc gets valued up to 7 k by 2020 one ark will be around 16 - 20 dollars
