does it really matter if bitcoin crashes if all my holdings are alts?
if it falls:
>i can exchange them for a shitload of bitcoin if I really wanted to
>this is indicative that people are moving from bitcoin to either fiat or an alt coin anyway
>people will look to alts anyway, ethereum is gaining momentum and so will alts like stratis or (god forbid) litecoin
how can i lose with my holdings in a top 15 volume alt coin?

Were you faggots asleep the last crashes? Alts are tethered to bitcoin's success. Once people start to panic sell everyone moves out of alts for easier exchange from btc to fiat. Kinda hard to find someone to pay cash for bitbean when everything's falling.
Oh and can I ask, how many minutes have you been trading crypto for?

ive been here since april
held ethereum through the last crash
the market cap grew since the last few crashes anyway so we can't lose

1 month
I said drop not crash

nigga btc back to ath and everything's in the green. This "btc up, sell and buy alts. Then alts up, sell and buy btc" meme is bullshit dreamed up by the new friends on this board. This isn't a fucking teeter totter. Next time you see a btc "drop" you may also notice 9/10 times everything is heavily in the red.

Yes. Alts are in bitcoin. That means even if they stay the same in btc if it crashes the price falls the same relative to the dollar. Also historically when btc crashes alts crash harder because everyone pulls out. Long term you will be fine if the coins have merit.
