People's strategies for transferring BTC between exchanges in terms of speed and value:

Some coins transfer faster than BTC unless you put in a nice miner's fee. Price volatility might be an issue if the transfer takes a long time.

You should hold appropriate amounts on each exchange. If your chasing pumps and shit then just have it all on bittrex.

to be honest it took me 10 minutes to get my btc from polo to bittrex yesterday.

Sometimes during quiet periods I take it all off the exchanges and keep it in cold storage then transfer it back

me too actually - 10 mins from cold wallet to Bittrex but this is not the norm in my experience
