Well, it doesn't look like there's a normal investment general, so I'll just ask here.
I put a little away every month into my investing account and my IRA.
How much should I save before buying more stocks, funds, etc...
I think doing it every single month would be dumb, that's a fee every month. But waiting to long and just sitting on the cash is dumb too.

How much do you have in there? Once you hit a certain threshold (it's 50k with Merrill, for example) trades are free.
The other thing to consider is that fees (like commissions) may be tax deductible.
