Don't
1. Don't go all in
2. Don't buy anything that has already gone up 5 fold in a month
3. Be careful buying very low volume memecoins, if there is only 10 BTC total buys then even small fish can crash it to 1 sato
4. Don't assume /biz/ always knows what they are doing or want to help you, the basic concept of trading is taking money from people that are worse at it than you.

Do
1. Look for coins that have seen big acquisitions, these show as large volume buys but the price dropping to near the original price after a few days
2. Get Blockfolio and set high / low alarms, this way you aren't stuck staring at the monitor
3. Adjust these alarms daily, while it's tempting to sell once you are up 100% you can set a low alarm at 80% and a high at 150%, if it hits this high rinse and repeat always increasing your high / low alarms.
4. Check /biz/ every couple of days, they do recommend some great coins but use your brain and check the marketcap, features and wallet yourself.
