I've been fucking around with €350 since last week, which is now approaching €800. my entire wallet is on Bittrex, and I'm wondering if this is at all a good idea moving forward.

I imagine the alternative is wallets, but I hold about 15 altcoins and trade regularly from one to another.

Where do you hold your coins, /biz/? Is 2-step verification OK when storing shit in the cloud? At what point did/do you store it in a safer place?

I keep everything on the exchange site because i'm dumb and lazy.

If you cash out regularly and heavily, keeping stuff on the exchange probably isn't too bad. If you plan on hodling anything for a year or more, though, definitely go for a personal wallet.

>mid-monday have only 243€
I'm doing something wrong.
I've mostly been holding ETH and STRAT while daytrading RDD and Sia

I have 25k in savings so my portfolio would have to go beyond that point for me to start thinking about cashing out. I really do not need money, it's more of a side project that could (potentially) take off.

If I would store my coins, do you have any recommendations for multicoin wallets? I'm not sure I trust all those android apps, I'd rather have them on a secure computer disconnected from the internet.

I have been thinking about safe long-term storage as well lately. What do you think about this using a dedicated notebook?

1. get a cheap used thinkpad für $150
2. install linux, even though i dont know anything about it
3. download and sync core wallets
4. transfer coins to the wallets
5. store somewhere safe and only use it for buying lambos
6. store wallet backups on 2 or more usb-sticks

would this be safe or are there any manuals on how to set up an air-gapped wallet?

seems good. backups are definitely a good idea, I imagine that in the event of a break-in the they're looking for your laptop, not the little wallet that's on it. would be a shame to lose your money to a guy that has no idea what he's stealing.

yeah no backups would be dumb

I'm aware that Imgur.com will stop allowing adult images since 15th of May. I'm taking actions to backup as much data as possible.
