what have you had better luck with?
hodling coin(s) for ages, and having one or more of them randomly moon days/weeks/months down the road?
or doing constant stressful daytrading?
im holding a few coins but am also wondering if im shooting myself in the foot by not being more attentive to the daily charts and trading more often. the other part of me thinks doing the latter is a good way to flush my shit down the toiler 10x quicker.
whats worked for you?
Allot part of your equity for coins you believe as good long term hodls.
Then use a smaller part of that as things you want to ride the wave for like upcoming news/hype trains/moon missions.
Then keep a part in BTC so you have it available for anything that comes up.
I have a bot that tells me when something sees unusual buy volume. I tend to drop a portion of my BTC in those and watch them for a day. I let the winners run, and cut the losers. I'm thinking I could do it without the bot, and just dart board shit on Coin Market Cap too, but whatever.

ive made more money by waking up to it, than i have by frantic buying and selling

This, find a good hold in a good coin and let it sit.
The thing is, everyone here wants to praise holding, but VERY few people posting about it have been doing this more than a couple months at the most. If you see anyone talking about something they held for years, it's going to be ETH or BTC, not some random altcoin. Most people saying to hold for months have no evidence or background for their plan. Many coins die.

Look at that and you'll see what the chances of picking the correct coin out of the ~750 or so are, excluding the ones like ETh and BTC are.
Also why is everything so black and white with you guys? Your only choices are hold for ages or constantly move your money buying and selling? Stop being silly.

This is why you invest in serious coins and not the meme coin of the day like music coin and moon

What do you look for when trying to pick a serious coin? I hear that its good to look at the Dev team, the product and the technology.
But there must have been promising coins in the past that ticked all the right boxes but somehow must've crashed right?
