First time posting here, asking for simply advice on saving money.
I just had a talk with my aunt, and I had just realized that I have no money in my savings account, and I'm almost 20, and I should REALLY start being responsible with money. So, considering I'm literally starting with nothing, and I work a minimum wage job, what percentage do you think I should put into a savings account every week?
I was thinking 75%, since I make about $200 a week, that would leave me with about $50 a week to spend on whatever I want and $150 in my savings account.
I don't care about the bank I'm using, and I'm not competent enough to manage a cryptocurrency...yet.
Be brutally honest with me. If I have to last every week with as little as $10, I'll do it.

what are your monthly bills? >insurance? rent? internet? phone? netflix?
im guessing you don't have any expenses because you don't make shit (I've been there)
>save all you can. at least 50%
I remember easily saving $1000 living with parents with a min wage job. be aware of where you spend your money and minimize it.
I have switched insurance providers and saved at least $100/month. my smartest move was cancelling cable and direct tv.

You're right in that I don't have any expenses, except of course for a couple memberships that total $30 a month, but that's chump change if it's a whole month. I'm living with my dad right now, and I know full-on adulthood is coming fast, so I'll have to prepare.
And yeah, I think I'll stick to my plan of 75% in savings. Maybe I'll be more lenient sometimes, but if I can make $1000 in two months, It'll be worth it.
