Hey /biz/, so i'm thinking of starting up a lil' streetwear/sportswear brand with some mates from uni, got a bit of money saved up and all got part time jobs and what not. Our question is, and it's a bit of a far fetched one, but we can pretty much do a lot of business online these days, right? At least that's the idea for a while, anyway.
We're asking this because we're not New Yorkers, we're not Berliners, we're not Londoners, and we don't want to be. If we got to a point where we could open a shop. Is there much point opening a retail independent store in a major but smaller city? That's our biggest question.
Yes but you have to go viral by paying for a lot of ads on FB. Also wtf makes you think there's any hope for your clothing brand?

Yeah, I mean obviously probably not much hope, but worth a try I suppose, good work experience also even if it does go tits up.
Thanks for advice, we'd rather do that than move to a capital just to make a bit more money, doesn't seem worth it price wise in cost of rent for business space and storage (especially in London)
