Anyone have a hardware wallet? Thoughts on them?

I feel like it would be a good investment, definitely better than keeping it on an exchange.

Ledger Nano S by far the best

How often do they update it so you can add different coins? For instance if I want to put Siacoin on it....would it be reasonable for them to update it in the foreseeable future?

I canceled my order.
Just save the passphrase encrypted on an external hard drive.

they are a great solution. i have a trezor.

Not risking my mad gainz because i'm a tightass.

the top benefit - key never leaves the device.

Paper wallets have been and always will be the safest option

Have trezor and can vouch for its ease of use. Seems to be the most secure as well, but more technical anons will hopefully speak up.

I just wish they supported more coins and added GUI support faster. They support LTC and ETH, but ETH is done through myethereum wallet rather than their online gui. LTC has some other weird thing where it won't work through their gui, but its supported in the firmware - I'm pretty artarded technically and not going to fuck with that till they add GUI support. The other coins they support are I think Z cash and Dash. I store my dash there.
