What's a suitable amount of money to have in accessible savings?
I have £4,000 in my bank but conflicted whether to invest more into crypto or keep it there for emergencies... even though it never does anything.
What do you think?
there was a thread not long ago here about this topic. Try to think about a situation where you will
be in to need that money and decide if you will invest more in crypto

£4k is what I keep accessible too - any emergency more than £4k is going to be something too serious to focus on gains.

it depends on your net worth and where you live, but here's what I'm doing in euro-land:
>50% in EFTs or index funds
>30% in private pension fund
>10% in bank account
>10% for high risk/high reward investment (e.g. crypto currencies)
also, ~25% of my income goes to my government insurance and pension plan automatically.

My rule:
Minimum of two weeks of income in my checking at all times.
One month of income in a savings account for emergencies (car repairs, bail, etc).
Two months income in another savings (to hedge against job loss or other catastrophe).
So my liquid accounts always have a minimum of about 105 days' worth of earnings.

Sounds like a great investment.

it's not like you have a choice here. these things are mandatory in socialist Europe.

This may not be smart but
>2000$ in btc, eth and xrp
>700$ in cash
>~400$ in my piggy bank
>~300$ in gold assets
The bonus is that i am living in east eu and it's all cheap here

Can confirm 23% of your salary income gets mandatory for pension and insurance

>60% of your assets in extremely volatile investments
>this may not be smart
I think you're underestimating how fucking retarded this is.
>>2196402
that's extremely stupid
especially right now when bitcoin looks like it's on the brink of collapse

In some countries you even pay mandatory government health insurance if you make / have zero money. Not kidding, Hungary is like that for example.
Hey anon where did you buy your cryptos? I'm in the UK
