When ether's high price raises gas costs the smart contracts will cost more money to run.

This seems like a big flaw, am I missing something?

the system is incentive based you retard

the people running the system realize if the fees are too high, people wont use the system, and thus ETH will be useless. Theres incentive for the gas cost to be reasonable for both parties. because its decentralized, the market will determine that exact sweetspot where both sides are happy and can agree. idk why none of u faggots can do 10 minutes worth of research on this shit.

just because they are getting smart contracts doesn't mean they will be any where near as useful. BTC relay already makes BTC activate ETH smart contracts so TECHNICALLY BTC does already have smart contracts. Now the tech in this article is actually very similar to what Vitalik was trying to build with Mastercoin and decided after trying he fucking damndist to just start over. The reason: security. There is a MAJOR problem with a 10 minute blockchain trying to run smart contracts as a side chain. It works better as a catalyst on a native smart contract chain. This is how Ethereum was born. I was there.
