I'd highly recommend online sources for how to make effective copy-writing for facebook ads. Traffic and sales are the lifeline of any online business and with proper copywriting experience you could make sales from FB with minimum expense.

An exhaustive knowledge of your customer and industry. Read a textbook on accounting. Know your tax laws.

That's pretty much it.

there are really two things yo need to know in any business:

>2. How to delegate if you can't do something yourself.

Oh, I should add:
1. can't be learnt from a texbook, instead you need create your own research
2. theoretically you could read some books on management, communication, read some Cialdini and maybe even some of the non-creepy hypnosis gurus... but I suspect this is something that can only be learned form experience.

I've started 2 businesses and wish like hell somebody had pulled me aside and slapped me until I agreed to get a CPA. The books you can do yourself with Quickbooks but don't even think that because you can do something well enough to go into business doing it that you can do your own taxes too. If you make a mistake, even if it's an honest mistake, the IRS doesn't fuck around and then they narc you out to the state and local tax dicks too. I guarantee I could have saved thousands of dollars and a lot of headaches if I had followed the advice I just gave you for free.

And don't just assume because they have CPA next to their name on their business card they are good. Get references, and follow up on them. Talk to people in the same or similar industry and ask who they use. Interview a couple of them. Good luck anon!

That's not what I said, I said you can try your luck with reading to learn how to be good at delegation but it seems like somethign you can only learn by doing (a non-committal hedge, I know... IT'S /biz/ FFS) but for market research you can't get it ready made from a book, you need to literally do your own primary research.

If you're a total noob and have no idea where to start just google these terms:
"Formative Research Marketing"
"Qualitative Research Marketing"
"Quantitative Research Marketing"
"Situation Analysis"

I won't recommend any books because quite frankly i haven't found any that meet OP's criteria.
