As someone who makes a living from importing and reselling foreign goods I do not think you will be able to find an opportunity for straight arbitrage in a European country (but I could be wrong)

Any commodity product that is not contraband will be so competitive you can't make a profit. It's very unlikely there will be a shortage of anything.

What you need to do is find a problem and import a product that can solve it. You don't want people phoning you to buy 100 widgets, you want them phoning you because they have a problem and your website popped up when they googled the problem.

So it doesn't really matter what the product is, what you need to do is identify a problem in Latvia that needs solving

I believe I am smart enough and capable enough to pull this off, I also have a reasonable grasp on finance and business but for some reason when it came to this, I think I overwhelmed myself with question and possibility.

I intentionally omitted that because it is an extremely good niche for me and I want to keep it that way. I am consistently making 60-70% profit on the products I am selling which is phenomenal and ripe for competition. Obscurity is protecting my margins.

But it's not because there is a shortage of these products, anyone can buy them on alibaba for cheap just like me, they just don't know what products they need while I do.

Suffice to say I am importing some extremely obscure commercial equipment
