1. Tell your teacher that he/she is a fucking idiot. Grading students on their ability to luck into large profits in a small time frame is literally teaching "get-rich-quick." Not surprising, since most teachers are horrible with finances, but you're not only getting robbed of the opportunity to learn, but you're actually getting bad information.
2. Cheat. Most of these games use 20-minute delayed pricing. Go find a provider of real-time stock quotes (not easy to do without paying, but possible). Look for stocks that make big instant moves. Then go to your fake stock game and buy them at the old price since your shitty game won't have caught up to the new price yet.
You'll get an A and maybe your teacher will learn to stop using stupid teaching tools.

Most of those classes don't grade on performance. It's more about learning how stock trading works.

not graded on success but it is on about a 15 min delay, will definitely be cheating. thanks

Terrific. Do they teach you how to buy lottery tickets too?
It's really not that hard to teach actual, useful information like the benefits of long-term investing, tax-advantaged accounts, index funds, compounding, and fees. But instead they teach destructive behaviors that only profit the financial industry....
