Sorry to hear that, bro and IKTF. Take heart though, at least you didn't gash away £250k, like yours truly! That's roughly how much I degenned away in six years! Add on another 50k ish on hookers, strip clubs, Michelin star restaurants, designer threads etc and life is now a cluster fuck!

Invested all of that in index funds instead would have about £500k more cash and would be living it up in a EE penthouse instead of still living at home, getting humiliated basically every day by mother, at thirty, and only having a cash bankroll of 31k despite making that in a MONTH, tax free, back in my business glory days.

Now that really is gashing out that the up and coming young Turks should avoid emulating. Have a consistent work ethic and get treatment for depression and a compulsive streak etc instead of wallowing in it! It will really spiral and ruin your life if you let it!

Why do people gamble? At least with securities and even fucking crypto you can sell your 'ticket' back and cut your losses if you didn't double. Its like being able to get a partial refund on a stack of lottery tickets if you didn't win.
