>NEET
>want a full-time job
>every company only gives 15-20 hours because of Obamacare

How the fuck do I get around this?
>>
>>2021456
get two jobs.
>>
>every company only gives 15-20 hours because of Obamacare
This is a lie.

You're a faggot.

Go back to /pol/.
>>
>>2021456
Tfw you don't speak enough Spanish to get a job in America
>>
then take 2 20 hour jobs
>>
>>2021468
This is a lie.

You're a dipshit.

Go back to r/politics
>>
>>2021468
Bro every job I've had topped out at 25 hours max, you're a lie
>>
Wait, you can't work for more than 20 hour/week in USA?
I though you're suppose to be land of freedom.
>>
I'm a firefighter, but not in US.
I do 48hours over days then have 4 days off, pay is quite good.
Not sure what US roster and pay is like, YMMV
>>
>>2021550
Correction, 58hours over 4 days (2 10hour days, 2 14hour nights) then 4 off.
>>
>>2021558
48 hours....

Fuck typing on my phone and not proof reading. My bad
>>
>>2021456
>>every company only gives 15-20 hours
I fucking wish
Don't fall for OPs lies the standard is 40 hours a week
>>
>>2021558
>4 days working 4 days off
what country has 8 day weeks?
>>
>>2021460
This.

You do this until you find a full time job or get an opportunity to move into a full time job.

It sucks but then you learn.
>>
>>2021568
My roster rotates so I dont work the same days all the time and so each of the 4 shifts work an even number of weekends
>>
>>2021531
We were until the """Affordable""" Care Act. It imposes limitations on employers, like anyone working full time has to be offered health insurance. The companies that can't afford to offer health insurance plans have to pay a fine. The companies that can't afford to pay the fine either cut their 40 hour workers down to 20 hour workers and hire twice as many. From their perspective the cost is the same and they skirt the health insurance requirements.
>>
>>2021567
>Don't fall for OPs lies the standard is 40 hours a week
That's the standard for full-time jobs for people who have careers. As an entry level person I can't find ANY jobs that offer full-time hours. I don't even care about benefits, I just want a consistent schedule and to not have to deal with 3 different PT jobs each with their own managers and coworkers etc but those jobs are basically non-existent now
>>
>>2021583
They are common in production environments.

For some reason retail wanted more flexibility because as they moved away from a person or manager doing scheduling to scheduling software it was better to have variable scheduling. In reality this was a retarded move as nobody likes variable schedules and now you are seeing a move back towards non-variable schedules.

Of course, part time workers are here to stay. You won't be able to spike your hours to 40 for half the year.
>>
>>2021468
>I don't know how employment works nor do I understand that companies refrain from employing people over a cap as they now must provide a monopolized service to them by force
>>

>Bro every job I've had topped out at 25 hours max
I'm sorry your life sucks? This is obviously a reflection of your low intelligence and/or skills, and doesn't have anything to do with healthcare laws.

Sorry snowflake.

>The companies that can't afford to pay the fine either cut their 40 hour workers down to 20 hour workers and hire twice as many.
This is also a lie.

You're both faggots.

>ACA part-time/full-time requirements began in 2015
>study uses data from 2005-2015
>data that's a full decade removed from ACA laws being established is lumped in and averaged together
>look at the numbers guys, there NO effect at all!

http://www.marketwatch.com/story/obamacare-has-led-to-rise-in-involuntary-part-time-employment-goldman-sachs-finds-2016-06-08

>The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) issued a comprehensive assessment of the law’s likely effects on labor markets in February 2014. The agency concluded that the ACA’s “largest impacts will probably occur after 2016, once its major provisions have taken full effect and overall economic output nears its maximum sustainable level.”

Yeah, sorry Trumptard, I'm going to believe a study conducted by the Brookings Institute before I put any credit in a clickbait article you found in the opinion section of (((Marketwatch))).

https://www.brookings.edu/blog/health360/2015/03/20/employment-impacts-of-the-affordable-care-act/

Let's go further and do a little fact-checking on the lie you (and your Cheeto Benito fake president) keep repeating:

http://www.politifact.com/arizona/statements/2016/jun/22/donald-trump/donald-trump-wrongly-claims-there-are-more-part-ti/

How about some more studies:

"There is little evidence that the ACA has caused the shift across hours categories, or led to an increase in part-time employment"

https://www.aei.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/aca_pre-publication_version.pdf

"Little Change Seen In Part-Time Employment As A Result Of The Affordable Care Act"

http://content.healthaffairs.org/content/35/1/119.abstract

Gosh, it must be so inconvenient for you faggots when the facts just don't line up with your narrative. Well, don't let that discourage you. Just keep lying to yourself, since you're the only one dumb enough to believe in bullshit anyway.

back to t_d, snowflake
>>
>>2021816
>http://content.healthaffairs.org/content/35/1/119.abstract
This is the same study used in the CNBC article you listed

Based on the same old data as the first one and it assumes that the brunt of the effects would have already happened by now-- the CBO assessed that we won't feel the effects until 2017 through 2024

if the entire gap is traceable to the impact of the ACA, the law has increased the number of workers who involuntarily hold part-time jobs by more than 1 million. My guess is that the number of workers who involuntarily hold part-time jobs has remained high because of the weakness of the economic recovery rather than the effect of the ACA
>the law has increased the number of workers who involuntarily hold part-time jobs by more than 1 million
>my guess
nice source you got there, really got my almonds activated
>>
>>2021583
The whole Obama care thing aside
>jobs are basically non-existent now
Pretty much, there are no enough jobs, period. Even in the last 3 years we lost more manufacturing. If you look into the real unemplyment rate, 50% of people under 30 are unemployed or underemployed
>>
>>2021844
>My guess
is worth as much as the shit you've posted in this thread. But I guess when you run out of fake facts to post, you just throw out your uninformed opinions and pretend they mean something.

And I posted studies from 2015 and 2016 ... the same year as the (((article))) you posted that contained no actual facts but instead relies solely on conjecture and supposition.

#btfo

Thanks for some amusing fodder, kid. See you at the top if /r/EnoughTrumpSpam.
>>
>>2021851
>50% of people under 30 are unemployed or underemployed
More fake facts. Just because you're too autistic to land a job doesn't mean the same applies to actual functioning job seekers.

The only reason you post lies like this is to make yourself feel better about failing at life. "It's not me, it's the economy." Nevermind that the economy is chugging along briskly, unemployment is the lowest in a decade, and companies are hiring every qualified person they can find.
>>
>>2021859
>And I posted studies from 2015 and 2016
You spammed the same study at me like 8 times, studies that were published in 2015/16 and only used data from 2005-2014--That's like studying the effects of a tsunami hitting a village before it even hits the village. This conclusion has already been validated by the Congressional Budget Office as well, but you'll just ignore that and drown me in more blogpost studies by irrelevant professors and ((()))) jokes so what's the point
>>
>>2021456
Ask for 2 separate positions at the same company
>>
>>2021894
>irrelevant professors
Yeah, why would we believe trained educators who study economic effects for a living when you can cite a (((Marketwatch))) blogpost written by a highschool student?

Your cognitive dissonance would be scary if you were a person who mattered in life. Instead, it's just sad and a bit pathetic, to be honest.
>>
>>2021905
Still hung up on that one article while I demolish all of your """studies""" with one simple piece of logic. Is this how they teach you to argue with people over at your /leftypol/ summer camp?

>if you were a person who mattered in life
Don't project too hard, you might strain yourself
>>
>>2021928
Um, who are you? You haven't posted a single study or even participated in the discussion. You're just one of the worthless shits that can't even get a full-time job in a booming economy.

Why are you even responding to me?
>>
>>2021979
>t. frustrated brainlet who can't comprehend people owning multiple devices
>>
>>2021456
>How the fuck do I get around this?

You spread your ass cheeks nice and wide and take a dick in balls deep
>>
>>2021996
Haha. A samefagging cuck who doesn't even have wifi! Just when I thought this thread couldn't get any funnier.

Just fucking pathetic. How do you keep from killing yourself?
>>
>>2022020
>Doesn't understand basic economics
>Also doesn't understand basic networking
Color me surprised
>>
>>2022042
Basic networking 101: If you had wifi your devices would have the same public IP, cuck. Jesus, you just keep getting more cringe.

Remember when I asked how do you keep from killing yourself? I take it back. The real question is why?
>>
>>2022048
>Basic networking 101: If you had wifi your devices would have the same public IP, cuck.
Nice m8 you're all set to pass your Net+, I'll leave you to theorize how I could have both wifi and multiple ip's at the same time

>kill urself!!!!!
I just have to keep laughing at you I'm sorry
>>
Hehe ... look at the triggered NEET who keeps coming back for more insults. I've basically called you human garbage and told you to kill yourself ... and yet you still want to talk to me.

I honestly can't think of anything more pathetic.

Good luck with your unemployment, ignorance, and low self-esteem. Hopefully you have either religion or drugs to sooth your demons. Sadly, you'll get no more (You)s from me.
>>
>>2022096
Lol bye stupid faggot, keep working on that wifi brain teaser, you'll eventually get it
>>
>>2021531

because shitlibs "fixed" healthcare
>>
>want part time job
>every good company in the region only offers full time jobs
life is a scam
>>
>>2021456
Step 1: get an education with marketable skills
Step 2: Apply for career style jobs, instead of McDonalds
Step 3: Wage Slave your way to retirement at 70, when you can retire and live a small stipend from Social Security and whatever you were able to save in your meager 401(k)
Step 4: die
>>
>>2021550
what country and how much are you paid ?

Holy shit BTFO
>>
I honestly wish I could get the three day jobs women get.
>>
>>2021470
What if I'm fluent in English, Spanish and Italian but can't get a job if I tried?

I'm stuck being self employed making websites for local businesses :(
>>
>>2021456

Try a temp job that promises they'll add you on as permanent if you do well (UPS/Amazon does this). Right now isn't really the best season to look for a job though, try the summer time or just before the holidays and you will definitely find something.
