I DON'T GET IT.
I want to buy some ETH, but i only have a debt card and i think i've read somewhere that Coinbase taxes more than 4% on the total sum i invest.
That means, if i invest 100 i need the value of ETH to go up to 4% before i can make it a "100" again.
Is this right?
Also, does every site has this type of taxes?
i hope this b8..... nothing about this thread is accurate

care to explain please? i'm a nocoiner
>>2020799
i think the fee for debit card is 3%. i THINK, i don't really remember. if you're holding long term i wouldn't be worried about a 3% increase if you're trying to trade short term then ETH probably isn't the best thing to invest in
>>2020789
it's all on their website, my nocoiner friend.
>>2020819
i'm not from US though...i'm from europe
Is there any other site where i can avoid these fees?
Also, can you suggest a wallet?
I also noticed there's a 30.000 eur limit on the wallet
?

Not sure why there are so many nocoiners in this thread but,
using a debit/credit card will generally net you about 4-6% in fees, 4% from coinbase or most other places, and usually an extra international processing fee on the part of your bank,
this can be shit as it means $1000 can net you around $40 in fees which at least used to be a whole nother ETH, now is about half an ETH in fees
You can get verified though and do direct transfers from a bank account, wherein the fees are more like $15 per 1000, but the transfer will likely take about two weeks

Ok so, let's say i buy from Kraken, will i alway have the same 4% fees? Also what about the 30.000 euros limit?
>>2020870
Kraken imo is much better, I'm actually in the process of being verified there right now.
I don't know if they do anything other than wire transfers from banks, still looking into it, in which case a wire transfer is faster than slow ass ACH, but fees are about $30 a transfer
If you have enough money I think you can make it worth your while
>>2020870
Also Kraken's daily limit is fucking $2000 so it BTFO of coinbase
>>2020789
Trade 0.025%
Buy w fiat credit card 3.75%
Sell to fiat 1.75%
Cash in/out straight from ATM 10%
>>2020889
Yeah but i'm not talking about daily limit, this is what i see on the european fees on the site
"Please note: Your total EUR Wallet balance cannot exceed €30,000.00. Any excess funds will be sent back."
>>2020901
Pretty sure there is no limit such as this,
can't find anything that says definitively though
The monthly withdraw limits for tier 3 verification are $200,000 so if there'd be any limit on your account it would have to be AT LEAST this
>>2020950
Well i can see it on the site though? Do you know if any european has a money limit on coinbase?
>>2020964
no I meant for Kraken there's no limit
3.99% is FUCKING HUGE. I started a thread about this a few days ago, but got no traction.
Is there any site that takes less for debit, without that gay I.D shit?
I've been watching the crypto action for months but never got involved for this exact reason.
So is there any better way for debit/PayPal?
Checking acc is out of the question

localbitcoins.com then transfer BTC -> ETH on bittrex.com (very low fees)
For localbitcoins just dont meet in the hood, and you should be good.
>>2021113
Doesnt localbitcoins have like a way more expensive exchange rate for btc? To the point of 4 percent from coinbase actually being less expensive?
Is Gemini any good?
>>2021212
you should make sure it works in your state first
>>2020831
It doesn't stop there, they charge you more per BTC / ETH than the other exchanges charge. Pick Gemini, my fees went from $400 to $60 when I sold 30 btc.
