If I have an account on kraken, should I register on any other exchange? I'm from the EU.
BTW which exchanges demand photographing your ID to do business? I didn't have to do it for kraken.

for polo you need to take a picture of your ID.

What about bittrex?
Most coins I'm interested in actually are on kraken - but not things like Golem for instance

C-CEX doesn't demand it and it has a decent set of coins. It's crappy when it comes to directly depositing cash into it but if you have a Kraken account you should be able to just transfert bitcoin or litecoin from one account to the other.

Kraken, bittrex and poloniex. This is all you need. Bittrex should be your next exchange right after buying BTC/ETH from Kraken.

Yobit is pretty good for lesser known coins like posw

Yeah, that is true. OP is newfag though, so kraken and bittrex should be his only exchanges for now.

Is there any other site to buy ETH / BTC than Coinbase?

BitStamp worked best for me. Can buy with SEPA order (if you're EU).
Coinbase has some shitty flash webcam app that i couldn't get past when needing to verify ID, but i hear it's good.
