That's what they said about 2001 but the truth is if you picked out even one of the good companies and held to 2017 you'd 10-100X your portfolio.

Sure some coins are overvalued, but pick one good altcoin that survives and it will save your gains. Read a bit about venture capital. A venture capitalist usually has 1-2 good picks that carry their entire careers.

From a risk management perspective, pick 5-10 promising coins and the ones that work out, keep buying the dips. I personally do 60% of monthly savings into stocks/real estate and 40% into crypto. You can do 70-30 if you're a pussy but keep in mind the stock market is super efficient and crypto market isn't nearly as much so there are much more opportunities to make money.
