Any bitcoin loyalists wanna explain how the price is rising when a contentious hard fork is up in the air?

Honestly, and I speak from experience, most crypto guys have no idea what crypto is, how it works. They have no idea about investing. Look at me, I follow /biz/ philosophy of buying the tip and SELL SELL SELL the dip. I see something mooning and I buy it. Most people also do this. It's how it works. If there's a fork or a knife I'll take it in the ass.

The days of me holding btc are in the past.
Theres more money to be made in alts.
They can fork if they like, just means the alts will moon like crazy

Because it isn't.
community is rejecting unlimited, essentially a resolution of the fork = moon
>he fell for the Buggy Unlimited hardfork meme

Won't they plummet because alts can only be bought and sold with BTC?

Not for long.
