How crazy would it be for me to open a waste/material transport business in a city of 300k people.
Theres maybe 2-3 guys doing it already that i can find websites of. Can anyone share some experiences?

Bump
Always a need for those services, organized crime is often involved in waste management though, so if there are only a couple people there doing it it might be because they killed any new comers that came around.
I'm young but know everything. Unless you have like 3 mill vash for start up costs then i would rather just invest in ETH
What do garbage trucks actually do with all their waste?
Could I just buy some empty vacant land in the middle of no where (there's a lot of that just outside the city where I live) and dump all the rubbish there, rather than going to a tip?

Its more of a furniture moving company not a garbage disposal i worded it wrong. Yeah I dont wanna go against those guys, im a one man operation.
You would have to invest in a landfill
Probably not. I feel like there's low demand for it, and those who regularly use the services would rely on the same guy.
Are you talking about like a 1-800-Got-Junk operation?
And seconding the others here, don't go into waste removal those guys will kill you.

Basically what I want to do is buy a van and transport whatever shit people want me to.
Id be a small operation I doubt I will step on anyones toes. Im from EU anyway, i think the landfills are state owned, so Im not worried about the mob.
