Hello /biz/ I am new to this board and I'd like to know whats the rough outline to a plan for getting rich in the twenties? How much real hard work do I have to put into it, I am a teenager, do I need to be a genious or is there hope? I am also not talking filthy rich, just independent and rather wealthy by twenty five years so I can buy a nice car and brag a little bit. Of course to have some kind of insurance for later, too.
What's /biz/'s advice for this?

stay in school, read the newspaper and educate yourself in business and the economy, find a casual job while studying, seek out leadership opportunities at school, learn to give by doing charity work, play sport and keep active. save your money, invest what you save. learn about coding and identify trends in technology.
If you do these things you will grow up a good, balanced person, no cliche bs, it is the truth. companies hire these types of people, not lazy ass bums. if you want to be successful you need to go out there and grab it. be prepared for the future, and for god sake pick a useful major.

Is a MBA in Management along with an MBA in either financing or accounting useful? I plan to on becoming a dual major.
POSW or bust
That's my game plan anyway. Good luck OP

I tried a bit to get into coding, it really isn't what I want to do later. Did you mean I should try to make it part of my job or just have it as skill? Also my dream is something in the direction of psychology to be able to get into HR and leading roles in companies, is that a useful major?
