Hey /biz/, I'm 20 years old and almost overcame depression. Now I'm getting motivated to become rich. Where do I start? What's the best thing to study and any books you'd recommend?
if you have any brains your best chance is to...
>Start a business
probably a bad idea as you probably have a bad idea
However if you genuinely think your on to something then you need to start researching your market and then the business practices for the thing you want to do. This is extremely open so cant really give you any specific recommendations
>Become a professional
Go to community college (or whatever your local variation is, bad luck if your from a poverty hell hole) and then go to university to become a lawyer or accountant
Neither of these subjects are hard (think maths or physics) and can be done by people of moderate intelligence if your willing to put the work in
They also come with accreditation. No your not going to get in to a good firm if you went to some pleb tier university but you will get a job and make a decent living that will allow you to use your spare income for investing.
>Become a tradesman
You will earn a good wage and you will have spare cash for investing and opportunity to start your own business/contracting firm
All three of these are viable options with different pros and cons
