Hey /biz/
I was thinking about making a crappy bait website filled with ads.
The domain would be something like "gofle.com" or any other popular site name, but with 1 letter misspelled.
Where do I start? I heard Wordpress allows to create webpages fairly easy.
And is this even a good idea to begin with? Can it even cover the hosting and domain cost, let alone bring income?
I would also appreciate an advice about making websites for money in general.

You need to do proper research. Check out a website that's already popular, check their number of visitors and then you can go all-guerilla on them. Pretty easy to do really. But wouldn't it be an even better idea to have a fully legit website with its own personality?
It isn't a bad plan, only you're about ten years too late for this to work well.
The adds don't pay as well and sites like this are pretty hard to find. Plus the hosting service will probably shut down your site if you do anything remotely illegal.
Thanks for replies, kind anons.
I guess I just gonna try and see what happens.

Bad idea ads pay fuck all unless you get clicks and you wont if they sleep the domain wrong they will just click out and research wont make back the domain cost
If you get your hands on some decent domains try zeropark or dntx.
How do you plan on getting traffic for it?

People make typos or misspell. That's the traffic.

the problem is 99% of normies dont actually type domain names in to their browser, they just google and click the first result
