>Interview last Wednesday
>Goes great
>Send follow-up thank you the next day
>Radio silence since interview
Wew. So, I'm guessing I didn't get it at this point. Should I bother inquiring about my status or just move on?

Why wouldn't you? I mean the worst outcome is you not getting the job right?

Wait until the weekend, casually inquire in a way that doesn't seem pushy or desperate - text or e-mail - on Monday.

Just show up tomorrow. "I'm starting today. Where is my office?"
The whole point of the follow-up is a chance to remind them of you. Instead you are annoying them by fucking with them during their other interviews. Maybe not ruin your chances next time and don't act lke a pushy asshole.
In a similar position as OP, applied for a local gov't internship recently. Interview went fine, but it's been radio silence since then, it's been 2 weeks as of today. I know gov't is slow getting back to people but does anyone have any more input?

No way to know for sure all companies work differently. If the vacancy isn't urgent or if some C levels need to sign off then it can take a while. I would send a follow up email Monday to the recruiter it's literally their job to liaison with you there's no harm in that

Ya think you have it bad, I've been waiting for 1.5 years now, they told me: we'll let you know in August this year.
