What the fuck do I do? Every time I apply for work they always ask why I'm not in private equity and treat me like I'm fucking retarded. Haven't been able to get into a basic fucking financial analyst position with Dunkin Donuts, getting beat out by people with no experience.
I've been looking actively for a year across the US and aboard. Any anons got any advice? I'm desperate enough to ask a Mongolian Crochet Club. I have great experience but it seems to only hinder my search.

Go do an MBA. Useful in the right scenario.
Maybe your PE company went under because they hired kids from random schools
But PE experience with a top 25 MBA should get you back in the game

Look for similar gigs in other industries, come on anon. Banks, Brokers, Exploratory committees for companies looking to go into new markets. Think wide net, anything that you can bring value with your expertise.
