What are some "must-read" books for beginner investors? I'm 18 and haven't got a clue. I've seen a lot of book suggestions being thrown around but am not sure what to get. Any other recommendations regarding investing would also be nice.

Best book I read was a random walk down wall Street. It gives a good synopsis on how investing works and what wall Street is.

Yes, Random Walk Down Wall Street provides good general synopsis of investing (and a bit of economics) and saves you wasting a lot of time trying to learn technical analysis and other bullshit investing strategies

Don't listen to these pretentious douche bags. This book is practical,
It taught me all about Dividens, Market Shares, and Tracking Trends

>technical analysis
>bullshit
>not knowing technicals are based off of past price data, which is based off of human behaviour, which is anything but random

'Buffetology' is really good, it'll teach you how to read financial statements and gives you the distilled version of what ratios/indicators. For total beginners but still insightful.

And your argument is?
