dude ever heard of preferred shares? You don't need to time the market to make money. big banks always have some preferred shares floating around that pay out around 5% in dividends every year. some are floating rate, so you'll get more as rates rise.

or you can take it easy and buy pff and just reinvest the dividends. I call it the inflation machine.
