Does /biz/ know why more scientist don't go into entrepreneurship?

There's a lot of regulatory bullshit involved in running a business

a lot of scientists are autistic or actually goodhearted, decent people more interested in advancing their field than making mad cash
that being said technical expertise combined with entrepreneurship is god-tier, spent the weekend at a 2 million dollar condo of an oncologist researcher who shilled for drug companies, so much money my god

I bet. With a technical background and enough business acumen to keep ideas simple and potent it's a wonder there aren't more of those freaks swimming in cash.
Guess they prefer whining about how their degree can only net them $40k a year unless they go to grad school.
