I live in Sweden (EU). I intend to start a company. It'll be a webshop, taking payment in Bitcoin. Is there a way to run it anonymously? I don't need to hide from the police, I just don't want my name to be public record.
>registering a company abroad (registered agent, nominee board of directors)
>running the site without writing the company behind it anywhere
Any other ideas? How much would registered agent services cost me? Could I run it without having a company, and declaring it as income?

no

Use Monero or wait till Ethereum gets the anonymity function supported. Pivix is still an unknown, but it's an option. Dash is a possibility as well, but we'll see how long it lasts.

I don't know how it works in Sweden, but in the US you can run a company as a sole proprietorship. If you don't want to do business under your name, you need to file a "doing business as" for whatever you want to go by.

I can exchange the bitcoin for monero, this isn't one of your cryptocurrency threads.

Oh yeah, we have them too. But the owner is very easy to find, since the company registration number is their social security number (they're not secret here)

Yeah, I don't think the level of anonymity you want exists. Consumer protection being a concern and all.

Maybe OP could open a company in one of the tax havens? They are pretty opaque
>>
>>1878848
I think you'll run into problems if you actually want to do business rather than just forming a holding company offshore somewhere.
>>
>>1878831
I don't see what prevents me from not publicizing the name of the company though. I won't need any payment manager or anything.
>>1878848
That's what I was thinking. How much would it cost me?
>>1878865
No, as long as I pay VAT I'm good, as long as I don't qualify as "based in Sweden". Maybe it would be a problem since I'm Swedish though.

Does anyone have experience running a webshop? Any tips?
