When is it time to sell pivx?
>>
>>1874625
long term or short term?

long term goal is 1$

short term is unpredictable - just sell when you got a fair profit
>>
>>1874638
How long until 1$ do you think? I started considering reinvest in eth but im not sure i trust that shit again.. im 7k all in in pivx bought at 0,12 lol
>>
>>1874641
up to 2 years and there are many happenings meanwhile, including the possible btc fork..

i'll sell 85% at the end of this month and put the leftover away.
i prefer to spread my long term investments and don't hold/pray for a specific one to rise though.
>>
>>1874641
I think eth run is still not over but pivx is a good currency. Maybe go half and half?
>>
>>1874608
ETH has quicker block updates. Shoulda sent ETH to bittrex and then ETH>BTC>PIVX

i'm afraid those cunts are trying to cause a dip
>>
>>1874697

Might end up hovering around 40,000 for a little while because of that.

>>1877489

We're definitely hanging out on the edge of the world right now but I wouldn't wait around for a dip.

As >>1877494 points out, Europeans are going to be waking up and panic selling their dash very quickly.

PIVx might have a decent amount of long-term potential depending on what happens in the next 48 hours.
>>
>>1877501
I put one ETH in PIVX and currently am outgrowing ETH's rate of price increase. Should I convert half my ETH to PIVX for the European panic buy that's coming soon?
>>
It's 6am in Germany now, I'm not sure if Europeans would continue to buy or sell all their pivx since value rose dramatically.

Usually Europeans are rather conservative and less adventurous than Americans... I predict a dip from Europeans selling their pivx and the road to 4 being very, very expensive while the bids aren't looking good. I'm out for now.
>>
Well fuck, I stand corrected for now...

TL;DR expect growth. Holding for a while.

Why aren't we using MEME WAR TACTICS on their forums yet?

https://www.dash.org/forum/threads/conflict-of-interest-accusations-and-defenses.13742/

Start here. DASH is basically a shittier PIVX, let's antagonize them and KEK THE CONFIDENCE of the opposition. They're talking about this shit really late at night, they're clearly concerned.

https://www.reddit.com/r/dashpay/

Reddit is, as always, a place ripe for targeting. Be wary to at least appear to be a real DASH investor, lest they lay banhammers down.

All we need to do is crack the consensus behind other coins and we make money. Don't underestimate the power of these boards - they got Donald Trump elected.

If DUBS I get my dick sucked tomorrow and ETH goes to $1,000

Chart anon here from last thread

I just made a dumb mistake last night and somehow corrupted my pivx wallet, and it refused to start up when i ran pivx-qt. Managed to solve it, thought I would share incase there is an anon out there with a corrupted wallet

For me, I cant remember what caused the error, but I got an error message "blocks corrupted". How I solved it was I navigated to the .pivx file directory (its hidden) made a backup of everything there, especially the wallet.dat. Next I deleted the "blocks" and "chainstate" folders, which forces the wallet to download the entire blockchain again. Run pivx-qt again, wait for the blocks to download, then you should see your balance again.

Lesson for me: backup the wallet
>>
>>1878690

>>
>>1878857
>n-no goys, d-don't buy this cheap right now..!!!
>>
>>1878866

It's a natural, to-be-expected dip with the meme magic situation at hand right now.

Imagine seeing those 150% gains showing up on your charts when you don't come to /biz/? That looks questionable as all hell - especially when the Google info on PIVx is as limited as it is right now.

Let the fire cool down a bit and it will heat back up with even greater intensity. Ride the wave, is what I'm saying. Cryptos siphon money from the nervous to the patient.

Honestly I'd consider anything under $0.60 to be a serious value purchase - this thing is gaining a lot of traction and we're going to see it cross the $1.00 mark soon.

I know, but I was trying to show the speed of the transactions to my real life nocoiner friends. It takes a lot longer from bittrex to pivx wallet because of the email confirmation and bittrex processing. between pivx wallets, Ive had transactions in literally less than 1 second
>>
>>1878952

In my shortlived pivx endeavour I've noticed that coins listed on both Kraken and Polo should be somewhat useful, coins listed on polo but not kraken potentially shady (they're also going full nazi in their trollbox about hypes n sheit) and coins not listed on both are super shady.
>>
>>1878967

I actually agree with this assessment, but I'm of the mindset that this coin will reach polo soon - and that's where we'll see the real value. The hope is that /biz/ was ahead of the curve in adopting PIVx, and given the amount of BTC going into it I would wager that we're in the clear.

Again, expect turbulence and dips on the rise - you can't have a coin hold steady at 100% gains - panic sellers (and even people just looking to make a reasonable short-term profit and ride dips) are there to ensure that.

Buy. Hold. ???. Profit.
>>
>>1879051
>but I'm of the mindset that this coin will reach polo soon

I didn't see proof, merely rumours.

While some guy mentioned pivx in polo trollbox the moderator told him not to advertise that coin.

There's still a lot of money in it, but it would be too tiresome for me to try to milk it while having the risk of suddenly losing everything since I didn't join early enough to have fat profits. Such cases.

But good luck to you, good sir.

There are nearly $2M USD worth of btc trading PIVx on Bittrex right now. That's more than the Ethereum, Dash, and Monero markets.
