What is the best OS for trading? I have a dual boot W10/Ubuntu 14.04 on my desktop but my gf has a MBP and I really like how sleek and clean macOS is.

anything for noobs?
I've only had an active account through Interactive Brokers (my passive is Vanguard). Their shit was cross platform, Java based so I used it on Linux.
I'm guessing most stuff is going to be built for Windows. Generally you want multiple monitors and that could get expensive on OS X.
Ideally Linux, likely Windows. Only downside to Windows is if your box gets popped and someone gets your brokerage account. That and Windows is a trash fire in terms of usability.

why is it so expensive?
does it mean that making minimum wage on stocks is very easy?

It has litterally every information and tool that someone in finance could need its also to stop plebs from using it
Try elementary OS. It's like OS X but Linux and heavily modified Gnome 3.
