Idk, why are you so concerned about this? What are your other options? For reference, I think my minimum to avoid fees is $2,000 and I think the fee is $10/month. I'm with wells.

Personal banker here. Wells Fargo if you do your direct deposit with them everything is pretty much free. You could always use a credit union as well but they are super incontinent with locations and atms.

I'm with Chase for checking, 5000 min balance or a $500 monthly direct deposit and its free.

Savings I went with Ally for no fee 1% interest.
