US pension schemes are close to collapse
European Target2 balances are so out of whack the whole currency could implode.
China is technically insolvent.
The US is only afloat due to massive QE.
And the S&P CAPE is now higher than on the eve of the Great Depression.
Debt levels in autos, home loans and student loans are at insane levels.
Financial crisis, you say... you won't be waiting long.

>Fiscal Cliff/Government Shutdown
>Greek debt crisis
>China Stock Bubble pops in 2015
>UK votes to leave EU in 2016
What do these have in common? Scaremongers all claimed this was the big one that would send us back into a recession. In reality you had a ~10% dip in the S&P 500 followed by a rapid return to normalcy.
I think we will live through many economic crises, but with the primacy of algorithmic trading, security prices have become increasingly decoupled from the real health of the economy.
I assume OP is talking about the giant 1/2 off sale that every talking head has been predicting since mid-2014. I don't think it's ever going to happen to be honest.

Yeah it should happen but will it? Algorithms at the federal reserve and banks kick on and buy pushing prices higher. It could go into death spiral if goes too high artificially.
