The sellers are piling up and the buyers are dwindling. Better get in before you have no one to sell to. Any other bubble immune people feel free to post your profits. Bagged 2k myself.

Shorting is dumb. Just buy something you like, keep it safe in a wallet, and wait for it to double.

So I've been wanting to do some simple day trading on Bitfinex. As far as I can see all I would have to do is buy once a day and sell once a day after it increases by at least 1%
Is there some catch that would prevent this strategy from working? Does it just become unmanageable at higher and higher amounts?

Unless you've hooked up APIs and are doing it programmatically, it'd be a pain in the ass to sit and watch it. Especially if you sell at 1% increase then see a 10% jump a few minutes after.

And what if it goes down?

It's probably the miners cashing in. They put in their hard work to build the software and now they are ready to make a little money for their hard work.
Good. It should crash so I can buy more
