Can't frame a good reference without your time horizon, state of your financial debt, and reason for investing.

I have no debt, and my time horizon can be either next week or 20 years from now

My reason of investing is just to give some productive use to my money in order to make the world prosper or something

you will need to settle on an actual time horizon, as a goal. Without one, you are more likely to be influenced by emotion, which is an investors worst enemy.

>world prosperity
given that, pick European stocks that have dividends and will be around for probably forever, like utilities, such as NGG. It has a p/e of dividend yield above 6% and a dividend growth rate over 12% and a p/e near 12.

I don't understand the fixation on the time horizon, well I usually keep stocks about a year or less after said period I sell with a profit around 10% if everything goes good. I check the prices more or less daily and follow recomendations of my bank, but the options they offer are to limited to my country and I would like to diversificate more

Having a set goal makes it easier to determine when to buy or sell a stock.
10 years, price targets, retirement, things like that mean you can ignore huge fluctuations without fear. If your time horizon is extremely short then you are not looking for a dividend and are seeking a high growth stock or something really volatile which is a different kind of trade.
Diversification is really simple, just spread your shares out between each sector as appropriate.
