I met this guy today.

He's in his 60s. He's one of those blue collar redneck type of guys. But this guy is worth millions. He's owned 8 businesses in his lifetime. All were successful and he sold them all making that dough. Yet he's like 55 and still works a 9-5 job making $12/hour picking up trash out of rest areas. He owns a water park/ski resort, and like half of the commercial offices in the city leasing them out to doctor practices, lawyers, dentists, financial firms, etc. Yet is still humble enough to work a 9-5 instead of blowing his money on McMansions and fast cars. He even has the same wife since he got married at 19.

Are people born with this sort of work ethic, or do they acquire it? I'm a wage cuck making $12/hour cleaning up rest areas in Colorado and come to find out this guy I work with is rich as fuck.
>>
All I can say is that if you can start a few businesses, live off of 12 an hour and invest the rest, you'd be rich as fuck too in your 60s.

The key is to live small no matter fucking what happens.

ah so the meth addict janitor told you his made up "story" and you believed it...

People who do that kinda shit just love to work not because they want the money

Most highly paid people are working like 80 hours a week
>>

They come from a different time anon, they truly do.

I asked a butcher at my work who's the same age if he planned on just relaxing during his days off. He looked me and said verbatim; "relax is a dirty word, I don't take days off".

Turns out he has a bunch of Bee hives and sells huge amounts of honey on the side, as well as doing butcher jobs for farmers/small towns and he's a really skilled leather worker, makes saddles and jackets and all types of shit.

He doesn't talk about money at all but what I've noticed is he never seems to be short on people he can call on. Like the amount of connections the guy has is really the most impressive byproduct of all the work he does.

He didn't tell me shit. The boss told me when I got back and asked how I liked working with the guy. He sold one of his companies to the boss.

what did you say to me you little bitch? ill have you know i was a navy seal...
>>
>>1849125
I was a Navy Seal for 4 months but they kicked me out because I was too lethal. I sneak attack these fat bastards in tractor trailers throwing shit bags over the bank now when there's a bathroom 15 feet away.

I don't think it's work ethic.

Plenty of people work extremely long hours for little or no gain. There is no point working 7am until 7pm for fuck all money.

He was just smart about his time. He worked long hours, but made sure it would earn him the top dollar. It takes years of experience to achieve that.

I have one of these guys part-time at work, but not arguably as wealthy. He's hardcore as fuck about doing his job, but he's the one with the least incentive to anything. We don't even get payed $12/hr, we all started as minimum wage slaves and we only recently started getting consistent raises.

He's retired (guessing he's like 55-65 years old, never asked his age), lives off pension from his old city job, rents out land here (Faillinois) and in the southwest US.

I envy these people. They are who I want to me 25 years from now. They don't work to live, they work for the lolz.

Not sure OP. Pretty cool tho. I ised to work like that. Tryimg to calm the fuck down and imvest so i can free myself.
