Is "scope" just a nice business way to say "fuck off, we're not doing that"

Yeah, i just made a list of the 1 thing in scope, and the (currently 27) things not in scope.
I explicitly state that this (not comprehensive) list is for items which forseeably could be added by others in the future, entirely separate from the scope of this project
basically a nice list saying "if you want to do any of these, you have to do the work"
i have to say autism really comes in handy for this kind of pedantic regulatory work
