but what happens is mexico can produce things way cheaper, and has much cheaper labour. so the jobs go to mexicans because lower expenses for corps.

then working americans get fucked.


if mexico/america had equal labor laws and stuff cost roughly the same to produce in both places then it would be a wonderful thing because then good moves much more easily

Mexico loses out more from NAFTA. Mexico depended on the US to buy its cheap goods but instead the US buys cheaper goods from China with tariffs. So with their goods cheap and free of tariffs and their main buyer not buying, Mexico ended up losing more from NAFTA.
