if youre starting with coinbase, you might as well just leave it in there...
unless you get an offline wallet
>>1827872
Seriously no need for wallets.

Explain please
My issue is that my laptop most likely got every kind of trojans, that's why i can use coinbase on my phone only
Do you suggest to write down the blackchain or is there a cheap, useful alternative?

Stop being stupid?

I've been using it for 8 years therefore cannot even install a proper anti virus
I'm not that familiar with cryptocurrency but have been following it for a decade
Anyways, thank's for the helpful answer and hope you'll get similar help on your way of becoming as rich as you deserve

Agreed CB has higher prices but way better interface and comfy

I'm using the official Ethereum wallet and the first time I sent money to it, I couldn't get the new amount to appear, then I installed it on my other computer and it worked.
Today I tried again, and now neither wallet is showing the new balance and the one on my first computer is still showing 0
Anybody else have this issue?
>>1827925
My point was about coinbase itself not security of your fiat on exchanges.
>>1827925
How is coinbase not safe if there is two-step verification?
>>1828303
is the program fully up to date and are you allowing it to fully sync?
The newest versions open the wallet while syncing automatically. You should see a bar across the top while in progress.
>>1828353
People are more afraid of the exchange itself committing fraud or theft, since its happened before on "major" sites.
>>1828359
Well the total balance just showed up on my second computer, so I guess there's that. I wonder if it just takes awhile to sync.
The first computer still shows 0 balance, and I even deleted all of the ethereum files off my computer and redownloaded it and dropped my keystore in and still nothing.
>>1828364
Ah I see, how long has coinbase been around?
>>1827872
Can't you buy Ethereum directly from coinbase?
