I have a job interview tomorrow /biz/ what's the general consensus for facial hair? Beard or no beard? If it matters, it's for a job detailing and prepping semi's
Thanks in advance
no beard unless you don't want to be taken seriously

Doesn't matter
>>1825361
depends on what you look like with and without a beard. you just go with what makes you more attractive brah
>>1825391
What is your reasoning behind this?
>>1825361
doesn't matter if it exist or not, just don't go in making it look scruffy and stuff. Trim the beard and comb it before going in.

Why do you say that?
ah sorry mate didnt read what the job interview was for.
but if it was some kind of retail/ food industry or office job i probably wouldn't wear a beard unless it was like really clean coz looks and cleanness still matter in certain areas
If it's anything blue collar or even tangentially blue collar nobody will give a fuck.
If it's some kind of office job better shave. For some reason those people think shaving every day makes you better than if you slavishly devote yourself to cultivating a fine mane.

Also if you show up looking like op's pic all the HR ladies are going to finger blast themselves for days thinking about you until you're eventually hired.

A beard is okay if it is very well groomed. The pic in OP would not get you any job except for blue collar or another labor.
If you want to play it safe, shave the beard.
But most biz related jobs the beard is okay for the interview but only if it is perfectly groomed.

Its a job working on big machines... if you didnt have a beard they probably wouldnt hire you.

That was my thinking too, but since it's a detailing job I wonder if they think that I should be highly detailed in my appearance?
