How can a country make its ordinary citizens wealthy?
In other words, how can a government generate high paying jobs? Is it investing in education? Lowering taxes and cutting regulations?

We don't live in the Serengeti anymore. Man has elevated itself above nature in nearly every other way- we can also rise above abstractions of primitive cannibalism.

>ordinary citizens wealthy
how wealthy are we talking here? the government can, at best, stay out of the way and let its citizens attempt to compete in the global economy
>>1815959
>attempt to compete against billions of people who can afford to work for almost nothing
This only serves the stateless corporations.

The average lifestyle of a Norwegian is still infinitely better than that of a Philiphino, though, wealth can be relative to other countries.
To achieve this however you either need luck (large natural resource/population ratio) or some unique benefits (Swiss banks, nazi gold etc)

>who can afford to work for almost nothing
You mean who could be working for you for almost nothing. To compete globally you have to be on the same playing field
